1. Definition

 

Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy (also called the Huawei ICT Academy) is a Huawei-authorized project for enterprise-school cooperation. It aims to provide students with access to the latest ICT technologies and knowledge, as well as develop professionals that can satisfy the requirements of Huawei's industry chain.

 

2. Huawei ICT Academy Certification

 

2.1 Eligible Institutions

Institutions can apply for the Huawei ICT Academy if they provide higher education, admit students completing the senior middle school education (grade 12) or a higher level, and get approval from the local education management authorities.

 

2.2 Certification Standards

For staff: The project owner, business owner, and teaching owner can be the same person. For hardware: Huawei provides a lab equipment list, and the school needs to purchase the equipment based on the actual requirements.

HALP Certification Standards and Authorization for Enterprise Business Ex-China

1. Definition

 

Huawei Authorized Learning Partners (HALPs) are social training institutions that provide learning services for the public, as well as develop professionals who can satisfy the requirements of Huawei's industry chain.

 

2. Huawei ICT Academy Certification

 

2.1 Eligible Institutions

Only companies with legal qualifications in the training industry can apply for HALP certification.

 

2.2 Authorized Scope

In principle, HALPs are authorized only in the country or region which they belong to.

2.4 Certification Standard Description

Lecturers with the HCSI certification need to associate themselves with their certificates and their companies in Huawei eChannel system. Hardware requirements: Huawei provides a lab equipment list, and the HALP needs to purchase the equipment based on the actual requirements.

 

3. HALP Application and Approval

 

The company submits a certification application form to Huawei for HALP certification. After reviewing the materials and making an on-site investigation, Huawei informs the applicant of the review result. Huawei signs the contract with the applicant who has met the certification standards and grants the HALP certificate.

 

4. Validity Period of HALP Certification

 

HALP authorization is managed based on the calendar year. For HALPs that pass the certification before June 30, the authorization will expire on December 31 of the same year. For HALPs that pass the certification after June 30,the authorization will expire on December 31 of the next year.

 

5. Approval and Effective Date

 

This document takes effect from the date of release and is effective until the next version is released.
