Huawei is currently one of the leading technology partner companies of DOIS. A leader in delivering global Information and Communications Technology (ICT) solutions, its customer focus and a powerful network of business partners, Huawei offers solutions in telecommunications and terminal and business networks.
DOIS and Huawei began their partnership in 2015 and, today, DOIS is one of the few Portuguese technology companies to be recognized as a Huawei GOLD Enterprise Partner. Other distinctions include Huawei’s ‘IT Best Partner’ and ‘Unified Communications Partner of 2016.’ In addition, the partnership has helped strengthen the scope of DOIS’s commercial strategy for the Portuguese ICT market. DOIS also is a Certified Service Partner (CSP).
In 2016, DOIS doubled its number of customers and saw a significant increase in the number of projects in new business areas, not just virtualization — its original core business. The increase in the number of projects in new business areas resulted from the strong commitment to the Huawei partnership.
Recently, Huawei awarded DOIS the distinction of ‘Best Partner of the Year.’ The award took into account the Huawei strategy for the Portuguese market with respect to the ‘Enterprise Business’ domain. The positive balance and the company’s own reinvention are directly related to the consolidation of the stake in the partnership with Huawei.
Huawei has numerous data center virtualization solutions and, compared to other competitors in the domestic Portuguese market, a clear advantage with the resources and quality of products/solutions/services. Involved in this technological renewal it creates added value for telecommunications operators, companies, and end users by providing competitive solutions and services with high additional value. The main sectors of activity include public administration, banking and insurance, pharmaceuticals/health, transport and logistics, retail, services, telecommunications, and energy.
Today, DOIS operates in other areas that go well beyond virtualization and data center solutions, such as its networking projects, switching and routing, collaborative projects focusing on telephony and videoconferencing solutions, contact center solutions, and important SAP HANA projects. The company’s differentiating factors include its strong consulting component and the professional services and management and support services of its teams.
DOIS has reinforced the importance of the Huawei partner ecosystem for its brand strategy in Europe, the enterprise cloud computing market, servers, Big Data, and storage.
